The theme for the 2016 CSU Football season was “Farewell Hughes.” 2016 marked the final year at Hughes Stadium before the Rams move into the new on-campus stadium. The campaign celebrated the past six decades that have occurred during the stadium’s existence. This campaign is both season long but also game-by-game specific with each of the six home games corresponding to a certain decade.
