30 Days of Art: (10) Light & Dark Mode Toggle

Today's UI design was originally going to be an animated prototype like yesterday, except when I was working on it on Framer for the first time, I had to export the prototype and open it up on their desktop app, which I cannot download cause my OS X is an older version and due to hardware and safety issues I've encountered in the past because I have a 2012 Macbook model, I cannot update my OS X anymore. And I oop.

It would have been nice to upload the animated version here so you can see how the colours change frame-by-frame, but I guess this will have to do instead.

Purple is my favourite colour and it's pretty much my aesthetic, so I was experimenting with my hex code, #8C6E98, to see what shades would look best on light and dark mode. I am going to be revamping my portfolio website later this year, so this is already giving me inspiration as to what the visual design will look like on the pages!
